Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Programs (CFCE):

BST offers programs through the CFCE grant that serves families with children ages birth through 8. The main goal of CFCE is to provide families access to:

  • transition information and supports;
  • assistance with meeting basic needs;
  • family literacy and school readiness activities;
  • family and community events;
  • parent leadership opportunities; and
  • information about early education and community resources that support parents in their role as their child’s first teacher.

Under the CFCE grant is also the Parent Child Home Program (PCHP) which provides home visits twice a week for 23 weeks to 20 eligible families in Wareham and 2 Center based day-cares. The home visitors bring free books, toys and games to the family to keep for a growing collection of age -appropriate school readiness materials. For more information contact Jane Collins-Fondulis, fondulis@wareham.k12.ma.us. To get on the wait list for PCHP, contact Marianne Murphy mmurphy@wareham.k12.ma.us.
